Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the IBPS PO/MT position, candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements:
Nationality/Citizenship
A candidate must be one of the following:
- A Citizen of India, or
- A subject of Nepal or Bhutan, or
- A Tibetan Refugee who arrived in India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanent settlement, or
- A person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, or specified East African countries (Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, Vietnam) with the intention of permanent settlement, provided they have a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.

- Minimum Age: 20 years
- Maximum Age: 30 years
- Age relaxation is provided for reserved categories as per government norms:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
- Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD): 10 years
- Ex-Servicemen: 5 years
- Other categories as specified in the notification.
Educational Qualifications (As on 21.07.2025)
- A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalent qualification.
- Candidates with a Grade Point System (CGPA/OGPA) must convert it into a percentage as per the university’s criteria and provide documentary proof during the interview or document verification stage.
Credit History
- Candidates must maintain a healthy credit history at the time of joining, as per the policy of the participating banks.
- Candidates whose credit history (CIBIL or similar agencies) is not updated must ensure it is updated before joining.

How to Apply
Candidates must apply online through the official IBPS website (www.ibps.in) between 01.07.2025 and 21.07.2025. No other mode of application is accepted. Follow these steps:
- Visit the Official Website: Go to www.ibps.in and click on the link for CRP PO/MT-XV.
- Register Online: Complete the registration process to generate a Provisional Registration Number and Password.
- Upload Documents: Upload the following in the specified format:
- Photograph (4.5 cm x 3.5 cm, 20-50 KB, JPG/JPEG)
- Signature (10-20 KB, JPG/JPEG)
- Left Thumb Impression (20-50 KB, JPG/JPEG)
- Handwritten Declaration (50-100 KB, JPG/JPEG, in English, not in capital letters)
- SSC/SSLC/10th Standard Certificate or equivalent
