Scale of Pay

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the post, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  1. Citizenship and Domicile:

    • Must be an Indian Citizen as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.
    • Must be a permanent resident of Assam and upload a valid Domicile Certificate (e.g., PRC).
  2. Character Certificate:

    • Candidates must provide a certificate of good character from two respectable persons who are well-acquainted with (but not related to) the candidate.
  3. Educational Qualification:

    • Minimum qualification: M.Com in Finance & Accounts or M.B.A. (Finance).
    • Upload all semester/year mark sheets reflecting the subjects and the final pass certificate.
  4. Experience:

    • At least 10 years of experience in a Senior Managerial/Supervisory position in any Government/Semi-Government/Corporation/Board or Private Organization, preferably in Finance & Accounts.
    • Upload relevant documents to support the experience claim.
  5. Age Limit (as on 01-01-2025):

    • Minimum: 45 years

    • Maximum: 52 years

    • Relaxations:

      • SC/ST: Up to 57 years (5 years relaxation).
      • OBC/MOBC: Up to 55 years (3 years relaxation).
      • PwBD: Up to the maximum age of retirement, irrespective of category.
    • Age proof must be based on Class-X/Class-XII Admit Card, Pass Certificate, or Marksheet issued by a recognized Central/State Board/Council. No other document will be accepted.

  6. Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD):

    • Must possess a Benchmark Disability (minimum 40% disability) and provide a certificate issued by a competent authority.
    • Since no posts are reserved for PwBD, they will compete on general merit standards.
  7. Government Employees:

    • Candidates in regular government service must upload a certificate proving their employment.
    • For pay protection or continuation of service, a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the competent authority is required.
  8. Small Family Norms:

    • Candidates must submit a declaration regarding Small Family Norms in Form-A as per Govt. Notification No. ABP.69/2019/17, dated 06-11-2019.

How to Apply

Follow these steps to apply for the post through the APSC Online Recruitment Portal:
