Consultant (Geology) for Drilling Operations

Job Responsibilities
The Consultant (Geology) will play a critical role in supporting drilling operations. Key responsibilities include:
- Guiding the Interpretation Team to identify drilling prospects.
- Preparing Executive Drilling Programmes for exploratory locations.
- Collaborating with the Drilling Team to design Depth Data Drilling Policy, Drilling Fluid, and monitor the Drilling Programme.
- Analyzing Well Logs and Mud Logs to support critical decision-making.
- Assessing potential Hydrocarbon Discoveries and preparing Appraisal Programmes.
- Preparing Potential Commercial Interest (PCI) and Declaration of Commerciality (DoC) for hydrocarbon discoveries.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Consultant (Geology) position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

Honorarium and Facilities
- Consolidated Honorarium: ₹1,50,000/- per month (inclusive of local conveyance, telephone, and internet expenses).
- Daily Allowance: ₹2,000/- per day during domestic official tours.
- Travel and Lodging: As per the equivalent grade during official tours outside Bhubaneswar.
- Paid Leave: 20 days per 12 months (pro-rata, non-cumulative, non-encashable).
- Work Schedule: Aligns with regular officers, with possible work on holidays/weekends without additional payment.
- Other Conditions: No other assignments allowed during engagement; GST borne by OIL, other taxes by the candidate; income tax deducted as applicable.
Period of Contract
- Initial Term: 1 year.
- Extension: Extendable by another 1 year (up to a maximum of 2 years) based on company needs, performance, fitness, and conduct.

- Engaging with the public to ensure smooth operations.

- Paid Leave: 10 days per 6 months (pro-rata, non-cumulative, non-encashable).
- Work Schedule: Aligns with regular officers, with possible work on holidays/weekends without additional payment.
- Other Conditions: No other assignments allowed during engagement; GST borne by OIL, other taxes by the candidate; income tax deducted as applicable.
Period of Contract
- Initial Term: 6 months.
