Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • All candidates must possess qualifications from UGC-recognized Indian Universities, Deemed Universities, or AICTE-approved autonomous institutions. Courses must be regular, and equivalent courses must be recognized by AIU/UGC/AICTE.
  • Candidates with CGPA/OGPA or letter grades must provide an equivalent percentage of marks as per university/institute norms, supported by a certificate at the time of joining.
  • Minimum percentage of marks will be as per institute/university rules.

Experience

  • Only relevant experience acquired after the qualifying degree will be considered.
  • For Direct Recruitment: Relevant experience in State/Central Government, PSUs, or reputed private sector organizations is required as specified for each post.
  • For Deputation/Transfer (Absorption) (applicable for Level 7 posts):
    • Candidates must hold an analogous post or have 5 years of regular service in Pay Matrix Level 6.
    • Must meet the educational qualifications for direct recruitment.
  • Industrial/Vocational/Apprentice Training will not be considered as experience.

Age Limit

  • The upper age limit is calculated as of July 14, 2025.
  • Maximum age for Deputation/Transfer (Absorption): Not exceeding 56 years.
  • Age Relaxations:
    • SC/ST: 5 years (for reserved posts).
    • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years (for reserved posts).
    • PWD (Divyang): 10 years (General), 13 years (OBC-NCL), 15 years (SC/ST).
    • Departmental Candidates: Up to 40 years (45 years for SC/ST) for Group C posts, subject to 3 years of continuous service in Central Government.
    • Ex-Servicemen: Deduction of service period from actual age, with a maximum relaxation of 3 years beyond the prescribed age limit.

Reservation

  • Reservations for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PWD (Divyang) are applicable as per Government of India guidelines.
  • Candidates claiming reservation must submit valid certificates (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PWD/EWS) in the prescribed format at the time of joining.
  • PWD (Divyang) candidates with at least 40% disability are eligible for reservation, even if no specific vacancies are reserved.

  2. Fill the Application Form: Provide all required details accurately.
  3. Upload Documents:
    • Passport-size photograph (JPG, max 400 KB).
    • Updated Curriculum Vitae (PDF, max 1 MB).
    • Brief write-up of roles and responsibilities (PDF, max 1 MB).
  4. Pay Application Fee:
    • Rs. 1000/- through online payment (internet banking, debit/credit cards).
    • Exemptions: No fee for SC/ST/PWD candidates and female applicants.
  5. Submit Application: Click “Submit” to complete the process. Note the unique application number for future reference.
  6. For Government/PSU Employees: Forward the application through the proper channel to:

Important Notes:

  • Application Period: June 14, 2025 (6:00 hrs) to July 14, 2025 (23:59 hrs).

Selection Process

Stage 1: Initial Screening

  • Based on academic records and relevant experience.
  • C-DAC may set a higher percentage of marks for shortlisting if there are sufficient candidates.

Stage 2: Written Test

  • Format: Objective-type test, 150 marks, 120 minutes.
  • Sections:
    • Logical Reasoning: 25 marks
    • General Knowledge: 25 marks
    • English: 25 marks
    • Numerical Ability: 25 marks
    • Domain Knowledge: 50 marks
  • Minimum Scores: 40% aggregate, 30% in each section.
  • Relaxation: 5% relaxation in marks for SC/ST/PWD candidates (for reserved posts).
  • No Negative Marking.

Stage 3: Skill/Practical Test (if applicable)

  • For posts requiring typing/shorthand, candidates must meet the specified speed and accuracy (85%).
  • Skill tests are qualifying in nature and do not contribute to the merit list.

Stage 4: Merit List

  • Selection is based solely on the written test merit list for Below Group A posts.
  • No interviews will be conducted.

Additional Notes:

  • Shortlisted candidates will be notified via email with details of the test date, time, and venue.
  • Candidates must bring the downloaded application form and original documents (with one set of self-attested photocopies) for verification during the selection process.
  • SC/ST/PWD candidates from outstation will be reimbursed for II Sleeper class rail/bus fare (shortest route).
